ABSTRACT
Despite the increasing adoption and acceptance of qualitative approaches and methods, qualitative researchers still encounter misunderstandings, prejudice, and even hostility to their work from people whom they deal with. Unfortunately, courses and books on qualitative research methods rarely contain much advice on how to communicate and justify qualitative research to such people.
