ABSTRACT

The author identifies five major principles successfully used to grow a company while he served in his role as chief executive officer (CEO) of The Gallup Organization. These include: a) developing a sense of shared mission; b) matching employees with appropriate job duties; c) intentionally building positive relationships; d) studying the success of the best; e) making every associate a manager; and f) measuring and communicating performance outcomes.
