ABSTRACT
Study-abroad programs provide excellent opportunities for experiencing and studying the cultures of other countries. Students who have participated in these educational programs have learned to appreciate different points of view, have gained an international perspective on issues, have developed personal confidence, and have enhanced their ability to function effectively in today's increasingly interdependent global society.
