ABSTRACT
Rat in The Skull is set in a Paddington police station where a suspected Irish terrorist is held awaiting interrogation by an RUC officer. The play shows the distrust and dislike both between the two Irishmen and the British police of whom they are both ‘guests’. The terrorist addresses this speech to the audience whilst alone in his cell.
