ABSTRACT

Insignificance shows modern man’s attempts to come to terms with his own mortality in the face of the nuclear threat. Four legends of Fifties America meet in a hotel room one night. The Ballplayer, loosely based on Joe DiMaggio, suspects his wife (Marilyn Monroe) of being unfaithful to him. In this speech he is talking to the Professor (Einstein) whilst waiting for his wife to come out of the bathroom.
