ABSTRACT
Victoria comprises three different but interlinking plays that follow the political and social history of the last century through the experience of one rural community in Scotland. In this, the second play, Jimmy is the new laird, eager to sell his ancestral home and discover himself amongst the religious leaders of India. His mother disapproves of both his plans for the house and land and for himself.
