ABSTRACT
The task of reviewing these chapters of the book provides us with an opportunity to highlight some general problems regarding the relationship between brain function and learning disorders. The chapters are written by authors dedicated to research in this important area of investigation, authors who on the whole represent some of the better work in the field. At the same time, these authors do not address the issues to which we wish to call attention.
