ABSTRACT
Terrorism – defined as the indiscriminate use of force to achieve political aims – is one of the major problems facing the world as the twentieth century closes. The problem exists on various levels, but can be reduced to the fact that an individual, acting within a committed terrorist organization, is very difficult to stop when prepared to kill in a random manner.
