ABSTRACT
Against a background of growing popular unrest among young Palestinians in the Israeli occupied territories, Middle Eastern terrorist organizations have continued to attack both Israel and its international supporters. These terrorist groups have been sponsored by various Arab states, notably Iran, Iraq, and Syria. The continued rise of Islamic fundamentalist terrorist activity has seen these groups hit Israeli, Western, and moderate Arab targets in their campaign to destroy the Jewish state and spread their message across the Middle East.
