ABSTRACT
Some administrators of private foundations, ministers of culture, and civic and professional organizations are initiating programs concerned with the arts and placing them on the Internet. These highlight a country’s heritage and encourage tourism. Others have such a variety of programs and interests that you must either (a) visit their sites periodically to observe the newest additions or (b) access one of the Web sites that indexes material on the Internet, such as Art History Resources on the Web [IV-A-4].
