ABSTRACT
Many claim that laboratory experimentation is impossible in economics and political science. Given the academic questions currently central to these disciplines, such claims, while debatable, are certainly understandable. The major focus of the field of public choice, however, is somewhat different from the traditional fields, and as a result laboratory methodology seems to be particularly appropriate.
