International Oil Pollution Compensation Fund 1971 (1971 Fund) To administer the system of additional compensation created by the International Convention on the Establishment of an International Fund for Compensation for Oil Pollution Damage 1971 (1971 Fund Convention, i.e. to provide supplementary compensation to victims of oil pollution damage in states which are Parties to the 1971 Fund Convention who, cannot obtain full compensation for the proven damage under the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage 1969 (1969 CLC) (see Agreements).
