ABSTRACT
Part 1 has described the overall strategies used to reach the very low levels of energy consumption aimed at in the advanced solar low-energy buildings designed in Task 13. This part supplies a closer description of the 12 major advanced technologies that were included in the designs and shows examples of how the technologies were applied in the Task 13 houses. An overview of advanced technologies reviewed for the Task 13 design process has previously been published in two Working Documents.
