ABSTRACT
In common with other chapters in this book, this chapter aims to describe a specific initiative in parental involvement in one geographical location with its own distinctive characteristics. This is an account of the evolution and adoption of a parent partnership strategy within an urban, inner city area, the London Borough of Newham in the east end of London.
