ABSTRACT
STAR (St Helens Advice and Resource) Children’s Centre provides a comprehensive, inter-disciplinary service to pre-school children with special needs and disabilities and their families. Following an outline of the history of the Centre, the unique features of the building, management and staffing are described. The integrated approach is shown in the Journey Through the Stars which is illustrated in Figure 3.1.
