ABSTRACT
Successful teaching and learning depends on the new teacher’s effective use of communication skills with his/her pupils. These skills are also an essential part of the repertoire for good classroom management. Most of us assume we communicate well. However, when our communication skills are analysed, we may well find scope for polish and improvement.
