ABSTRACT

I can see a pattern five, five, five, five, five. Lots of fives. (quickly following Kate's observation) There's always five at the end, always five dollies. (pointing to the first row of numbers) You just say five, four, three, two, one, nought. You count down. (in response to Niall and pointing to the same row of numbers) The five keeps going littler. It keeps going younger and younger and younger. What do you mean younger and younger and younger? Five is an older number and 4 is a younger number. Well, one is a little number and two is a bit bigger and three is a bit bigger. Three is on top of two and one is underneath two. Gosh, Daniel! I hadn't thought of that. Can anybody see any other patterns?
