ABSTRACT
It's spring and Russell and his dog Morag go to stay with Grandma and Grandpa at their house in the countryside. The sheep are in the fields and some of them are lambing. Grandpa warns Russell that Morag mustn't worry the sheep, and when the farmer says that dogs who do worry sheep have to be put away, Russell becomes a bit concerned. When Morag finds a lamb tangled in some brambles, she leads Russell to the place, to show him. The lamb looks very frightened and Russell's afraid in case Morag has worried it, so he calls the farmer to come and see. All turns out well, however, when the farmer explains what everyone means when they say that dogs mustn't worry sheep — and Morag certainly didn't do that!
