ABSTRACT
BREEAM, the Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method, was developed by ECD Energy & Environment with the UK Building Research Establishment and launched in 1990. Its aim is to provide guidance on ways of minimizing the adverse effect of buildings on the global and local environments while promoting a healthy and comfortable indoor environment for occupants.
