ABSTRACT
The objective of this joint demonstration project supported by the European Commission INCO Copernicus programme, was to develop and install innovative, efficient and reliable photovoltaic PV modules together with the Czech photovoltaic industry. A unique feature of this PV fayade extension is its gold coloured monocrystalline PV panels. This is the first coloured PV facade extension in eastern Europe. This paper presents an analysis of the first measurement data obtained. PV system efficiency is approx. 9% at STC and proofs that high PV module efficiencies can be obtained with the optically attractive coloured PV cell technology.
