ABSTRACT
In 1999 the total power of grid connected photovoltaic installations in Switzerland reached the „magical border" of 10 MWp. About 120 new systems with a total power of 1.8 MWp where installed during the last year. These data show that the positive growth trend of the PV power production in Switzerland was continued, but that the increase was not as high as in the years before.
