ABSTRACT
Based on several hardware and software improvements of the first DSR facility replacing also a number of components, both the typical operating times and the uncertainties have been reduced by a factor of two. The modifications of the DSR facility are described and the improvements are illustrated. An important aim was to improve the PTB's capability of carrying out the second WPVS recalibration in 2001 more efficiently.
