ABSTRACT

The need for procedures to improve the supervision of production and quality control systems that can be implemented in the photovoltaic industry, is well known. In this regard, this paper describes the resources and procedures developed by our group in order to systemise the study of production. These resources and procedures have been taken from the classification process. We consider that these may be used satisfactorily to improve quality control and, consequently, production. This method takes advantage of the special characteristics of the classification system developed by our group, which enables I-V measurements to be made at different levels of illumination and/or temperature, in addition to the measurement carried out in the classification process. The ultimate objective of this work is to enable production to be studied in two ways. On the one hand, the possibility of varying the classification margins and even the definition of new classification procedures in order to obtain panels that operate more uniformly within the same type. On the other hand, to define a measuring system that allows the correct supervision of production as a whole, using a few well-selected cells for this purpose.
