ABSTRACT

PV-plants and sites are assessed with solar radiation sensors. The partly very different physical qualities of the solar radiation sensors (spectral sensitivity, reflection, temperature dependency) lead to erroneous results. Thus different sites and plants are not comparable. Therefore, a new solar cell sensor SENSOL® was developed at ISET/Kassel. Based on SENSOL® a specific equipment SENSOL® global is created. It measures the solar radiation in different directions as well as tilt angles. By a corresponding standardization of the measured values, a fast statement is possible for powergeneration, referring to the different directions and angles. The data transfer can take place via phone or radio transmission.
