ABSTRACT

This work pretends to solve some of the problems found in PV reflectors concentration techniques when some of its sensible parts are totally or partially exposed to aggressive agents. The basic idea consists on enclosing in a box the most sensible components of the concentration system and eliminating when possible the components normally exposed to degradation. For this purpose the box should be completely sealed and the gas closed inside should not be aggressive for any of the internal parts. The box should have a low absorption window to allow solar radiation passing through it. It has to be provided by a heat sink element that transfers the remainder heat to the out side, especially from the PV cells.
