ABSTRACT
Because the terms 'nationalism' and 'globalization' embrace many meanings and are used in a variety of ways in fields such as politics, economics and education, it is difficult to agree on any acceptable definition. In order to study these phenomena, however, it is necessary to formulate working definitions.
