ABSTRACT

All the derivatives of the mystical resonance that is to be found in writing must find their analogies on the level of human relationships. People acquire a broad education easily and excel in whatever requires the mind alone; though they appear mesmerized by whatever requires the participation of the senses. Their sense organs, in a state of permanent hypothermia, are unable to transform the source of the stimulation into an image that might by analogy be reflected in the spirit. This is the source of the notorious intellectualism of our age; which one by one cuts all the threads linking us directly with life and condemns us to hunger for a warm embrace and real tears.
