Helping Performers: the Work of the British Performing Arts Trust

Recognition of the special medical problems of performers led to the formation of The British Performing Arts Medicine Trust. This paper describes the Trust’s activities which-have been developed to meet the medical needs of performers with particular reference to the work of the Association of Medical Advisers to British Orchestras.
