ABSTRACT

The Renanim group consists of about 20 members between the ages 30–50. The Idud group is made of about 45 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities around the same age range as the other group. They also live in a segregated village located outside of Natanya, but at quite a distance from Renanim's village. Rina is one of the few music therapists in Israel who works flexibly with open boundaries within music therapy and doesn't only confine her practice to individual or group sessions within traditional therapeutic thinking. The rationale behind it was to give voice to Renanim, who in her opinion was not heard loud enough when singing alone. The Renanim choir was transported with special vehicles to the arena. In addition to Ehud Manor's death another sad death occurred to one of the choir members.
