ABSTRACT
Our objective is to ascertain, as far as possible, the possessions under the jurisdiction of Segura de la Sierra which, for various reasons split into distinct smaller commanderies. 1 This frontier enclave became the basis for a vast group of commanderies in Andalucía and Murcia.
