ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a story about God and his three lieutenants, Jesus, Confucius, and John Lennon. The time of the play is very difficult to pin down since, as every Christian knows, time was created by God, who is timeless, thus God's time is immeasurable. There is no past, no present, and no future. This puts the playwright at a loss. The playwright is a secular man, so naturally he fixes the time of the plot in the present. That is what we're used to. The time is fixed, now the setting. The first act takes place in Heaven. That's where God lives. The River of Life, clear as crystal, springs from the throne of God and flows through the city's streets. On either side of the river, Trees of Life, whose leaves cure every disease, bear fruit each month of the year.
