ABSTRACT

As a young student in a Presbyterian School, the author was very much influenced by the enthusiasm and teachings of some of the Christian teachers. Jesus means a great many things after one becomes his follower. He also means only one thing, and that is his follower should be a true man or woman, a person like him. Indeed, not everybody can be an artist, a philosopher, a scientist, a religious genius, a great leader in industry or commerce. But an individual is essentially creative in the moral good that he brings about in the lives of his fellow-beings, whatever its form may be. A constructive contribution to any one in helping him to organize his personality around some central principle, like love for God and man, means nothing less than one's participation in the creation of a man and, at the same time, in the creation of themselves.
