ABSTRACT
To state that a barbarian, Jesus, is an incarnation of the Lord-on-High, while in fact he was bom during the reign of emperor Ai of the Han, is that “serving Heaven”? They are the same type of people as Moteng (who brought the Sūtra in Forty-Two Sections to China) and Liu Yuan. Chinese, however, are fond of new theories, and so they are planting the fortunes of the barbarians and harming the government. 1
