Ludwig Feuerbach's stark but truthful observation 'Der Mensch ist war er issf' (translated with license 'People are what they eat') has frequently been the subject of misconstrual and controversy. This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book.
