ABSTRACT
Statistical analysis is one of the most important high level cognitive skills that has to be mastered in many fields. Yet the attainment of this skill is difficult for many. Three tools to assist this mastery (appropriate use of verbal, imaginal and spatial material, recourse to errorless learning and use of a ‘meaty’ textbook are here examined.
