Virginia Held is Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Hunter College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She is the author of Rights and Goods (University of Chicago Press, 1989), Feminist Morality (University of Chicago Press, 1993), The Ethics of Care (Oxford University Press, 2006), and How Terrorism Is Wrong (Oxford University Press, 2008), among others.
