ABSTRACT
Martin Luther King Jr. was a minister and one of the most important leaders of the civil rights movement in the United States. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. He was the author of Strive Toward Freedom (1958), Why We Can’t Wait (1964), and The Trumpet of Conscience (1968).
