ABSTRACT
Sally Haslanger is professor of philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her most recent book is Resisting Reality: Social Construction and Social Critique (2012). She is the coeditor of Adoption Matters: Philosophical and Feminist Essays (2005). Among her many articles are: “Ontology and Social Construction,” Philosophical Topics, vol. 23, no. 2, 1995, and “Gender and Race: (What) Are They?
