ABSTRACT
Maggie Gallagher is an author, conservative columnist, and political activist. She is the author or coauthor of numerous books, including Debating Same-Sex Marriage (2012) with John Corvino, from which this selection is chosen. She cofounded the National Organization for Marriage and the Culture War Victory Fund and is the president of the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy.
