ABSTRACT
James Rachels was a professor of philosophy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was the author of Created from Animals: The Moral Implications of Darwinism (1990), The Elements of Moral Philosophy (1986), The End of Life: Euthanasia and Morality (1986), and the editor of The Right Thing To Do (1989).
