Carol Gilligan is a developmental psychologist and professor of education and law at New York University and is a visiting professor at the University of Cambridge in gender studies. Formerly, she was at Harvard University. She is the author of In a Different Voice (1982), Remapping the Moral Domain (1988), and many articles.
