ABSTRACT

It seems that Tilly, at the time, was mostly worried about the economic and political experiences that were important for the inclusion of groups of people in democratic regimes. However, he never specifically wrote about the ways in which trust networks would have served as an aid to undocumented immigrants in particular during their migratory journey and their settlement. Strict border enforcement measures have been put in place in the recent years, and as a result the undocumented migration flow has changed from a circular pattern in which immigrants settled only in certain parts of the United States in the early 1990s to a more permanent undocumented migration settlement that has spread throughout most of the country. Migrants also arrive with literally nothing as a result of their unauthorized migration journey during which they are forced to leave everything behind.
