ABSTRACT
Older prisoners are the fastest growing age group of inmates in various prison systems around the world, including in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. While correctional services are tasked with ensuring the placement, safety, and rehabilitation of older people in prison, prison healthcare systems are confronted with the task of responding to the physical and mental health needs of this group.
