ABSTRACT
Interoperability between the emergency services is critical to achieving successful and timely outcomes in incident response. A number of significant incidents in the UK led to the establishment of the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP), providing a common way of working through joint doctrine, training and exercising, and a lessons management process, Joint Organisational Learning (JOL).
