ABSTRACT
Drawing on academic research and years of field experience, this chapter examines interconnections and feedbacks among climate change, conflict and health. Climate change and violent conflict are complex phenomena that interact in significant ways––climate change can amplify variables that are closely linked to the conflict cycle, and the conflict cycle can increase vulnerability to climate change impacts. Alone or in tandem, climate change and the conflict cycle affect human health negatively.
