ABSTRACT

The international community is constantly faced with new challenges that play a catalytic role in the development of public international law. One of the contemporary challenges gaining increasing attention is migration and displacement in the context of environmental factors. However, despite the growing interest of the research community in the issue a gap in the law exists in relation to both environmental displacement as well as environmental migration.
