ABSTRACT
In Experiment 4 we found support for the theory of Table 11.1 by comparing it in a post hoc fashion to the theory of Table 11.2. In order to confirm the predictive power of the theory, 12 new multiple-operation arguments were generated. These were used in the present experiment. 1 As in Experiment 4, the new arguments all employed at least one operation from each of Chapters 8 and 10. Table 12.1 gives derivations for the 12 new arguments, in accordance with the theory of Table 11.1.
