ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses medical conditions associated with poverty such as asthma and its associated conditions: allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, and anaphylactic reactions. Nutrition-related disorders such as malnutrition, childhood obesity, diabetes, and mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression are examined. Oral health, lead poisoning, and immunizations are discussed, as is access to healthcare.
