ABSTRACT
This chapter develops a Kantian approach to meta-ontology. It contrasts first-level and second-level construals of existence with Kant’s modal interpretation of existence and then identifies the problem of modal representation as the central issue of Kantian meta-ontology, showing how this problem can be overcome by means of non-conceptual resources.
