ABSTRACT
Any book that presents a model of working with couples and families is incomplete without some discussion of Attachment Theory. In Chapter 10 Noela Byrne looks at couple psychotherapy through the lens of Attachment Theory. Her case study demonstrates the value and shortcomings of an attachment perspective in understanding the complex dynamics of the couple she worked with.
